This place is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Garbage all over place around the back of the building. The non-smoking room I stayed in smelled like cigarettes and armpit. Very dirty and run down. This place should be bulldozed to make the Holliday inn parking lot bigger. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!??
I have nothing positive to say about this hotel, we arrived an hour earlier than check in (after being in the car 17 hours with two children). The lady at the front desk gave me attitude then finally told me it would cost me an extra $15 to check in an hour early. Once we got into our room, it smelled like mildew and musty. No place for a vacation, more like a job to clean a room before being able to comfortably sleep in. Carpets are disgusting, fleas were jumping all both the beds and on my 5 month old!!! (room 105), coffee pot didn’t work, when you took a shower water went all over the bathroom. I went to the front desk and complained, she moved us to room 101 after giving attitude. Walk in new room, paint is chipping all over the ceiling, bugs galore, I’ve had to take out garbage bags from the room, there is a straw still on the floor, a cupcake wrapper under the AC unit (not from us) we’ve been here for 6 days and they have not came to actually clean our room once. I’ve had to go to the front desk just to ask for towels then got attitude from the lady again. One night we got chilly and tried turning the heat on and it set the smoke detector off bc the unit is so filthy and full or garbage. The toilet isn’t bolted down to the floor, so when you go to sit down on it the toilet wobbles. Tub is disgusting (even my 2 year old made comments on how disgusting it was). Handle on night stand was just dangling broke when we got in the room. And there was no fridge in our room, no telephone, television was broke and wouldn’t work and we came back to our room and we had a laundry bag just hanging on our door with wash clothes in it that they couldn’t even bring in our room for us. The pool is still broken, as they advertise that they have a nice indoor pool online. Absolutely disgusting hotel let alone the staff is so rude.
WOULD GIVE IT A -10 if I could!!!
Worst hotel ever! Front desk staff was nice and offered to credit back my card because of all the problems. They never did. When I disputed to charge with my bank they fought it. Ultimately I paid. Full of bugs. Huge holes in walls. Exposed electrical wires. Couldn't take shower because of hole in tub wall LOOKING INTO ANOTHER ROOM!!!! ceiling was falling down as were curtains. Absolutely disgusting. Not sure how this place is still in business. Health dept should shut it down!
This marked my worst hotel experience ever. My family arrived to check in following our decision to avoid Hurricane Irma. We were initially placed in room 132, which was on the back of the hotel. I was walking down the hallway, which was dark and dingy, and came upon a possum eating from an aluminum tray. When I went to inspect the room, it was smelly and in disrepair. The bathroom had visible rust on several parts of the ceiling. The shower head pipe was sticking out from the wall. The paint job on the door frame was incomplete, with obvious paint running and wood showing. The toilet looked terrible. There were obvious holes in the wall that were poorly repaired. The ceiling was chipping. I found a small roach crawling on one of the pillows. My three year old was even freaked out. On the way out, there was now a raccoon eating from the tray in the hallway. I went back to the front desk and was offered room 122, which was already occupied. I was then given a room on the second floor. This one was slightly better, but still unsatisfactory. There was a cigarette smell, two large patches of paint peeling off the ceiling, and the AC vent was missing. I stepped in the bathroom and was greeted by a hairy spider on the wall. Needless to say, we were done. Outside, you can see large patches of rust, light fixtures missing bulbs, and poorly repaired guard rails. This place is an absolute disaster and should be condemned. Needless to say, I would not suggest this place to ANYONE.
Our “smoke free” room REAKED if smoke (I have asthma), the smoke detector was off of the ceiling, our comforter was filthy, the closet had a used condom box in the laundry bag, no iron, no coffee pot, no hot breakfast in the morning, no room phone, curtains were filthy and the carpets were coming off the wall. You can tell the room hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long! The cable didn’t work either! Staff seemed annoyed when asked questions, oh and The pool which said was open when I called before booking... was CLOSED permanently!!! DON’T EVER GO HERE!!!
