While the actual movers were pleasant and helpful, the company itself needs an overhaul in management style. To move my one bedroom apartment, I was quoted an estimate of $425. I completely understand the meaning of an estimate, but I was completely surprised when I was given the invoice after the move - $900. No, that is not an exaggeration.
Anyone looking to use this company, please go elsewhere. They give off the vibe of a locally owned business but they are in fact, not. Go with a more reliable company and you'll be thankful you did.
Absolutely the worst moving company I have EVER used. they broke my new clock,(this was no accident, the guy "forgot" to pack a 3ft clock and crushed it behind the dresser) I have been trying to get it fixed for 4 month now... still not fixed. they don't return any phone calls. I've left messages and no one ever calls back my claim information has apparently been lost 3 times.
They over charge and don't treat your stuff with respect. They even stole from my girlfriend when she moved with them. Called the company and all they said was we trust our movers. Police report filed.

That aside I did go ahead and authorize the settlement that the insurance company would have authorized due to the timeline of response. (which was a $9.00 offer for a NEW $274.00 clock.)
After having to deal with that, they also forgot to unload one of my things. Multiple phone calls to the company, each with an employee ready and willing to simply pass the buck, has gotten me very frustrated. It's been a week since the move and I still haven't gotten what was left on the moving truck.

I was quoted a price and then when I called to confirm was quoted an hourly rate of $53 more with, "Sorry" as the explanation, even though the original quote was in the system. That'll teach me to try using what is marketed as a locally-owned business. (Keep in mind this is just another national chain that's no more "Mom & Pop" than 2 Men and a Truck.) Unacceptable, and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of it. Don't fall for the friendly salesperson on the phone! I'm going with 2 Men and a Truck again. In my experience, at least they do what they say they will do.
The insurance company denied the claim as in the notes it did state a full pack, however, there were no packing charges and the clock would not have been properly packed to be moved.
I was sent this email today.. clearly stated in the notes that I had a full pack @ 98.50 per hour..
