WORST STORE EVER: Do not order anything, get anything delivered, or try to get any help from this store whatsoever. If it isn't on the shelf just leave. Needed cabinets replaced after Matthew- Took 4 months just to get someone to measure. When cabinets were delivered to store we scheduled install and delivery the following week. On delivery day we began to worry when we didn't get a call to give us a time frame- installation was for the following day. Called the store and it was next to impossible to get anyone on the phone. The process is they transfer the call, let it ring, customer service transfers you again, then they hang up. We finally found out that the cabinets and Washer dryer were on the truck (lie). Called back late in the day after the delivery guys showed up at the apartment below us with out our stuff and were told it would be another week before we could expect anything!! (The people below us weren't home so they didn't get anything either). I had to scramble to get the cabinets myself. Tried to get a refund on the washer but the manager couldn't tell if was delivered or not. Got a call next day to schedule delivery 2-4 (lie). 6PM they called to let us know they wouldn't make it. Called to cancel the following Monday. After the usual transfer routine and very little help I was finally told the order would be cancelled. One week after delivery date- still waiting for a refund. I do love Lowe's-just not this one. This store is a disaster from top to bottom. Save yourself the aggravation.
Brought many items from this location and has been a great experience. Planning to have new flooding done. I wondering if they can do the job. If so that will also be wonderful
If your running a 75% off Christmas sale, then make it all Christmas. I wanted to purchase 4 Christmas tree storage bags. The cashier told me they were not part of the sale. It would have been nice to have a sign on the display explaining they weren't part of the sale. Considering the brand name on the package was "Santas Best" it's reasonable to think they were on sale. The cashier was not helpful, frankly, could have cared less. I had a cart full of painting supplies, cases of water and other items. I told her to forget it and I would go to Grayco to buy my items. She smirked at me and made it clear she didn't care. I've been a Lowes card holder for over 20 years. Think I'm done with being treated poorly. This was not the first time this store had been disappointing, but it's certainly going to be the last, at least for me.
One of the better Lowes I have been to. The staff is well trained, friendly, and egar to help.
Update: It is now 1 1/2 weeks since the damaged refrigerator was delivered. I have called the store numerous times, spoken with the delivery dept, asked to speak with a store manager, left messages for a store manager stating I had a major customer service issue, and I have yet to be contacted. I probably have at least 4 hours invested in waiting on hold. No response. Really, really surprised and disappointed. I will be contacting corporate to make sure they know what's going on at the Beaufort store.
I needed to purchase a refrigerator over the phone for a rental property in the area. After 3 calls (which were unanswered after holding for 20 min and then disconnected) and a day later, I finally spoke with someone who could help me. We got the refrigerator ordered and paid for. The item delivered was working, but severely damaged, and I was told it would be swapped out for a new one. It has now been a week and I still have the damaged refrigerator. I have called twice to ask when I should expect the replacement. Lowe's has not initiated any contact with me and has not returned my calls. The lack of communication and customer service at this big name store is unbelievable. If there is an alternative for appliances in the area I will be using them.
