For those of you thinking...Why did't I enroll her online well no one would give me the correct info snap code. Two people at the school had no idea what I was talking about and the other three people gave me the wrong codes..... I hope that the three ignorant individuals I have had to deal with so far are not what I will be experiencing with the rest of the staff at Beaufort High School.
My family moved from Bluffton to Beaufort, so I thought since we were in the same county the school transition would go smoothly. I was DEAD wrong. When enrolling my son into Coosa Elementary I was very impressed by how fast and easy the process went. I have been trying to enroll my oldest child in Beaufort High and it has been a nightmare. I went to the school during the beginning of the summer stood in the office and filled out the enrollment packet, I waited almost thirty minutes for someone to appear in the office. When a lady carrying her lunch came in I could tell that she was annoyed that I was standing there. I explained to her that I needed to speak with someone about the placement of my child and she told me I would have to speak with "guidance". I ask her when they would be available and she said "when school starts". I then ask her if I could leave the enrollment packet with her so that they could get all the records from the other school, she told me no, to come back in a few weeks and drop it off because she was going on vacation. Normally I would have been more persistent, but I could tell by her ill mannered attitude that it would be a waste of my time. Since that day I have called the school trying to get information and after leaving 8-9 messages I can not even get someone to call me back. I did get in touch with two of the rudest people yesterday. I explained the situation to both of them, at the same time because I was on speaker. I was not rude and presented no attitude, but in return they were both very rude and were no help. I told them I would be in on Friday to get my child enrolled, I was then told I can come on Friday but I will sit there all day because I do not have an appointment. I ask her how I could make an appointment and she told me I couldn't because none are available. Now it's the Friday before school starts "on Monday" and I am faced with the dilemma of waiting until Monday to enroll my child which means she won't have a schedule, or do I go to the school anyway and just sit and wait.... because I am pretty sure that the two ladies running the show......will make sure I sit and wait....

This school has a relatively negative impact on the "small town/ghetto af" society due to it's uncontrolled violence and respiratory content, can I get a #neverattendcausetheirnotcool
At Beaufort high it really seems as if this school is a really good school but that is not the case.Compared to other high schools in the state it is not performing like it should be.There is a really bad problem with the disciplinary action at this school.The administration is even worse.Two administrators have an arrest record and were still brought back.Most of the teachers don't take the time to understand there students simply because this is just a job to them.The school is also very disorganized and will lose your information.They desperately need new guidance counselors because as of right now they're aren't that many kids graduating.The new principal isn't helping either.Rather that trying to better the school she just discusses how much work the school needs.Most teachers have quit but for the ones who haven't they are creeps.If I were I would send my child to Hilton Head.
