This was a fantastic stop with amazing staff. As part of the best NPS site the staff was so kind and accommodating. They were welcoming, allowed us to take pictures and helped us plan our time in Beaufort.
A great little community museum. Stand by for a complete revamping of displays in mid Spring; come by now so you'll be able to appreciate all the hard work going on now!!
Tiny tiny community museum. Bought the tickets on the ground level, the staff was very friendly. The museum is on he second level. Wonderfully put together despite the many mismatched artifacts, which as the guide explained, are what they have received as donations. Worth the $7.
I recommend everyone stop here if they are visiting the area. It is absolutely the best starting point and us rich in history.
