I have been to the Beaufort office a couple times in the past month. Friendly and helpful, and lines aren't long if you go early:) Their job is hard, people tend to be worked up about having to part with their money, but they keep it cool.
Typical Beaufort incompetence! Will NOT allow payment via cell phone. Get it together! I have property here and in Horry County. No problem up there. And taxes are less. It's time for Beaufort to realize it's the 21st century. I'm an Engineer and lived here 28 years and tired of the sheer incompetence in this County. When it comes to service, this doesn't even qualify as a third world country!!!!
